Elijah is the author of the poetry collection Venus of the Swamp, which was published in 2020 by bluapple poetry as a part of the Youth Poet Laureate program. His short fiction has been published in the New Delta Review. His poetry has been featured in the Beloved zine and Parkland Speaks: Survivors from Marjory Stoneman Douglas Share Their Stories. He also wrote lyrics for the 2019 album Wake Up, America.
His work is forthcoming in The Milk House, SLAB, and the South Florida Poetry Journal.
Elijah's play, The Monster of Current Creek, was staged at the 2022 Lenaia Playwriting Festival.
Elijah received his degree in English & Creative Writing at Emory University, where he was awarded the Stipe Fellowship for Creative Writing and graduated with highest honors.
These days, you can find him in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he runs the independent zine press Bead Lizard Books. He is an organizer for the annual Pittsburgh Jewish Zine Fest, which raises money for Palestinian aid groups.
